From Portland we drove up to Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Forest where we spent the rest of our time in Maine. On the way to Acadia we stopped at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse near Bristol, Maine. It was also near here that we stopped for lunch and I had the best clam chowder in my life! Pemaquid Point
